Welcome to Meily Jadeite & Jewelry. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including purchases made via our Instagram account (@meilyjadeite), Telegram, live sales, or any other official platform. By making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Our Identity & Authenticity Pledge
Meily Jadeite & Jewelry is a licensed and registered dealer of precious stones and metals in Singapore. Your trust is our foundation.
· The Jadeite Integrity Pledge: We guarantee that every item sold as "Jadeite" is 100% natural, untreated Type A Jadeite. We stand by this with a 200% refund guarantee: if a report from a reputable gemological institute (e.g., Nanyang Gemological Institute) states the jadeite is not Type A, we will refund twice the item's purchase price.
· Certification Note: While we provide certificates where possible, some items (e.g., from overseas live sales) may not have immediate certification. Our pledge supersedes this and is your assurance of authenticity.
2. Ordering & Payment
2.1 How to Order: Orders are accepted via Instagram Direct Message (DM), Telegram, or through our official website.
2.2 Live Sale Specifics:
· Claims: All items are sold on a first-come, first-served basis during live sessions. A "Claim" is a firm commitment to purchase.
· KIV (Keep In View): A "KIV" expresses interest but does not secure the item. A firm "Claim" from another customer will take priority.
· Claim Confirmation: A claim card will be shown for successful claims. New customers must screenshot and send this card via DM to confirm. Existing customers will receive a confirmation via DM on a best-efforts basis.
2.3 Payment Terms:
· Full payment is required within 24 hours of order confirmation.
· Consequences of Non-Payment: Orders not paid within 24 hours will be cancelled. Customers who repeatedly fail to pay for claimed items will receive a strike. Three (3) strikes will result in a permanent ban from purchasing.
3. Pricing & Discounts
· Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
· Discount Policy: Discounts and promotions cannot be combined. The system will automatically apply the best single discount for which the order qualifies (e.g., first-time customer discount OR multi-piece discount, not both).
4. Custom & Bespoke Orders
· Pre-Payment: A non-refundable pre-payment is required to begin custom work, as per the Bespoke price list.
· Design Process: Clients must provide sample images. Without a sample, we will create up to three (3) design sketches. Additional drafts incur a fee of S$10 each.
· Finality: No refunds are permitted once production on a custom item has begun. Changes to the design after confirmation may require a new pre-payment.
5. Verification Services
· Jadeite Bangles under S$1,200: A co-pay fee of S$80 applies for verification at the Nanyang Gemological Institute.
· Jadeite Bangles S$1,200 & Above: Verification fee is waived.
· Other Jadeite Items: Verification fees will be advised separately.
6. Shipping & Delivery
· Processing Time: Orders are processed within 3 working days after we announce a "Close Box" (completion of a live sale batch). Custom items require 2-8 weeks from design confirmation.
· Singapore Shipping:
· Free for orders over S$100 via Singpost.
· Standard shipping: S$4.50.
· International Shipping (Southeast Asia):
· Free for consolidated orders over S$330.
· Standard fee: S$15.00.
· Other Regions: Rates available upon request.
· Tracking: Tracking numbers are provided via DM/SMS once shipped.
· Delays: We are not liable for delays caused by logistics providers or customs.
7. Returns, Refunds & Damages
· Refund for Non-Type A Jadeite: As per our Jadeite Integrity Pledge (Section 1).
· General Returns: We do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind, sizing errors, or imperfections (e.g., natural flaws on natural stones) that do not constitute a verified defect.
· Shipping Damage: Claims for damage during shipping must be accompanied by a continuous, unedited unboxing video sent within 3 days of delivery. If validated, a partial refund or replacement will be offered at our discretion. Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
· Repairs: Repair and alteration services are offered at a flat shipping rate of S$15, plus any assessed workmanship costs.
8. Live Sale Etiquette
To ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all viewers, we require:
· Respectful and kind communication in the chat.
· No spamming or repetitive comments.
· Claims made responsibly and honored upon confirmation.
· Patience as the host manages the session.
Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in removal from the live or future sales.
9. General
· We reserve the right to cancel any order at our sole discretion, with a refund issued per our policy.
· These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
· We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The latest version will be posted on our Instagram profile.
